We're back from our pre-wedding vacation! It was a blast. We were in Oslo, Norway for their National Day, which is like their 4th of July and is their biggest civic holiday. Everyone dresses in traditional costumes and all the kids parade.

The king and queen come to the balcony of the castle (not really much of a castle) and wave.
After that we went to see the fjords.
We took a train ride through lots of snow and got nervous that we hadn't packed enough warm clothes, but then the train descended to a lower elevation and it was quite nice.
Here's a picture of the tiny town, Flam, which we stayed in for one night. The hotel was gorgeous, and better yet, it had a sauna! I was sorry to leave.
Then the fjord cruise with lots of beautiful scenery.
Last stop was London. We stayed out of the center of the city so we did a lot of riding on the double decker buses.
And of course a few visits to some pubs to hoist a traditional pint!
Pretty soon we'll be starting to set up the wedding space so stay tuned for some pictures!
